Sample Itinerary:
Day one - Arrival day. Your All Star hosts will greet you at the airport and transport you to our stylish and comfy accommodations. Once settled we’ll show you around the town (Queenstown) and then enjoy a dinner together at one of Queenstown's favorite spots.
Day two and three - We’ll be skiing and riding one of the resorts in the Queenstown region basing our choice on the best snow quality. There are several world-class resorts to choose from in this region and we'll take you out to explore two or three of them during our stay here. Evenings in Queenstown we'll meet for dinner and show you around to the night life spots if you're interested.
Day four -Time to explore New Zealand with an optional activity day. Queenstown is the adventure capital of New Zealand; choose from bunjee jumping, jet-boating, para-gliding, fly by wire, rally car driving, sky diving, or something more tame. If you're not ready to take a day off snow, hit the ski slopes for another day of ski and snowboard time. In the evening we'll head over to the township of Wanaka to settle in to our new accommodations and have dinner.
Day five and six -Welcome to the home of some of the best freeriding and skiing on planet earth! The Wanaka area offers 3 resorts: Treble Cone (recently voted #3 in the World for terrain thanks to extensive back country access), Cardrona (New Zealand's most popular), and SnowparkNZ (known the World over for its amazing freestlye terrain - halfpipes and park features). We'll take you out to ski and snowboard these amazing resorts during our days in Wanaka. In the evenings we'll take you to enjoy a soak at the local luxury hot springs resort, take in a movie at the eclectic Cinema Paradiso, savor the food at one of Wanaka's restaurants, and visit some of New Zealand's most famous pubs.
Day seven - Optional Heli-day. Today enjoy long powder runs serviced by helicopter (an optional extra). This is a chance for the powder hound in you to explore the mighty Southern Alps of New Zealand. Prices for heli skiing in New Zealand are some of the least expensive anywhere, so take advantage of this optional extra if you please. For those not opting for a heli experience we'll hit the slopes of one of the local ski areas. The terrain serviced by the helicopters is not extreme, unless you want to go that way. All of your runs will be on moderate pitches that any intermediate skier or snowboarder can handle.
Day eight -Today is a rest and travel day. We'll take a scenic drive to the North.... to the land of New Zealand's highest peak and the area where many scenes for 'Lord of The Rings' movie was filmed. Here we'll settle down in a rustic mountain lodge for the last part of our journey.
Day nine -Today we'll climb aboard a helicopter and be whisked away to a day of un-touched powder, powder, and more powder served by powder cat! In the evening we'll relax back at the lodge and soak in all the memories of the trip.
Day Ten – departure day; today we have the sad task of saying goodbye. Your All Star hosts will shuttle you to the airport. We’ll make sure you make it to your flight home, and see you off….until next time.
